How To Send Bundles From Safaricom To Safaricom
There are several ways to send bundles from Safaricom to Safaricom.
- Via SMS:
- Send an SMS with the amount of internet data bundles in MBs Mobile number to 450. For example to Sambaza 30MB write an SMS in the format 300722000000 and send this to 450.
- You will receive a confirmation message once the transaction is successful.
- Via USSD:
- Dial *544#
- Select Internet Sambaza
- Enter the amount of internet data bundles you want to send
- Enter the mobile number of the recipient
- Enter your M-Pesa PIN
- Click Send
- You will receive a confirmation message once the transaction is successful.
- Via the MySafaricom app:
- Open the MySafaricom app
- Tap on Data, Calls, SMS & Airtime
- Tap on Share Data
- Enter the mobile number of the recipient
- Enter the amount of internet data bundles you want to send
- Tap on Send
- You will receive a confirmation message once the transaction is successful.
Please note that there are some restrictions on how much data you can send. For example, you cannot send more than 1GB of data at a time. You also cannot send data that has been bundled with other offers, such as free Facebook or Twitter data.
The cost of sending data varies depending on the amount of data you are sending and the type of data you are sending. For example, it costs KES 10 to send 10MB of data, and it costs KES 50 to send 500MB of data.
