Making money online?

I don't know if this happens to you guys, but I have some friends who still doubt me when I say that it's really possible to make money online and without investing a single cent (because it depends on the purpose of each person). But I don't care, because while they keep laughing... I keep making money.

Have you ever been in a situation similar (or equal) to mine? :)

Hey, how do you do that? How do you start without capital?
And please explain very well for a layman to understand.

There are a lot of ways how you can earn money online freely. I have online jobs such as making digital portraits and teaching languages.

Oh, YES! My friends tell me all the time they use Internet only to listen to music and for social networks. I keep telling they can earn money, but none of them wants to try, they just mumble some words and change the subject

I would like to know more about this too. I just recently started to have interest in online jobs so any information would be very useful for me.
So far, anything I am doing is going very slowly and I feel like I am spending too much time and effort and not earning equally.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but a lot of internet money opportunities are scams and, in other cases, people are simply too inexperienced to work with legitimate opportunities. For instance, in 2001, when I first started getting into web development, I bought an online store thing that I saw on TV. I was so excited. However, though, I didn't no beans about marketing. In that case, I was reduced to putting posters at grocery stores to advertise my business. Anyhow, as you might expect, my business got few visitors.

That depends on how high your rent is, haha! But really, it depends on your own personal preferences and your skills. A person with a large skill set and knowledge from different areas has much more possible ways of making a nice sum of money over the internet.

I agree with you WildSpirit. I have never invested any real money yet and I still have a nice steady income that is largely based just by doing freelance work and using different sites that offer you money for tasks. You just need to be clever and know where to look and I can assure you that you will find it! However, making money online can be difficult at the beginning when you're still trying to learn and get the hang of it - you have to be careful about various scams and offers. Also, expect some stiff competition on freelancing sites. People often bid to get chosen and so on. So the services you provide (or your skills) have to be top notch quality.

My friends don't really laugh at me when I tell them that I make money online because they tend to do the same - many of them through the SEO aspect.

WildSpirit, you are not the only one who had this kind of experience. At the beginning i kept secret that i am making money online, just like you without to invest a penny, but in time my friends started to laugh of me that i am staying at home, I don't work and have no money.
After a while i decided to tell about my work online, and i was amused to see their faces when they heard i was winning more than their salary every month. I keep working and earning online a good sum of money and now i don't see my friends laughing anymore,I only see envy on their face that i win more than they do.

I believe that there are loads of opportunities online. I have seen many of my friends reap big from working online. I will give two examples. I have a friend who does digital marketing. This, of course, needs you to have a huge following in social media. At a time when everything is digitalized, many firms are opting to advertise online. They, therefore, identify a few individuals who have huge followings and give them the adverts. My friend simply makes top brands to trend in social media and he is paid for it. I have seen him getting free phones, clothing and even shoes from brands. He earns around 600 dollars for every 3 days that he makes a brand trend.

The other example is a friend who does academic jobs. He writes research and other papers for students. He earns quite a good sum monthly. I believe it's all about finding the niche that works for you. Once you identify it, you are good to go. Aim for the stars.
