Is gambling a good 'business' idea?
Does it pay?
I would say that gambling is a good business idea if you have a lot of patience, discipline and skill. Lately, I have been looking in that line keenly and I have realised that one can make good money especially with matched betting. This is similar to arbitrage betting. This is where you stake your cash on all the 3 major outcomes of a match(soccer). The 3 outcomes should have almost similar odds. I have not tried it but I have heard of testimonials from a few people that claim that it works.
On the other hand, gambling might give you a very bad experience that you will live to tell. There has been emergence of social media merchants who claim to have fixed matches. They are simply con artists. They will trick you into sending them some money and in return they give you high odd matches-which they claim are fixed. At the end of the day you find that you will lose the money you paid and your stake. I agree that there might be possibilities of manipulated matches, but they are not peddled on facebook, whats app or telegram. Beware of such.
Particularly, I'm totally against this kind of practice (I don't like at all). Unfortunately, I only have bad examples (of many people close to me... and this is very sad and worrisome ) about this.
On the other hand, looking at the financial aspect... I think gambling can be considered as a good business idea because the financial return that can be earned through it can be very profitable (if luck is on your side, of course ).
Hi Dex, yes gambling is a good idea but only for those who own this business and not for the one who plays for the money. There is a big risk to lose your money and to get addicted to gambling. I am sure you heard about people who sold their jewels, the car or even their home to gamble the money!
I don't agree with such a behavior, so, I don't think is good to start gambling!
